Product Summary

The Sonus faber Gravis II is an active subwoofer designed to bring greater depth, weight and authority to music and home cinema systems while retaining the elegant styling associated with Sonus faber. Compact enough to integrate into a wide range of rooms, it is particularly well matched visually and sonically with the Sonetto collection.

At its heart is a 260 mm very long throw treated paper cone woofer, partnered with a 260 mm long throw passive radiator. This combination helps the Gravis II deliver powerful, controlled low frequencies with the texture and responsiveness needed for both musical bass lines and cinematic effects.

A high-linearity Class AB amplifier provides 350 W RMS power, with peak output up to 700 W, giving the subwoofer the drive required for confident low-end performance. Rear-panel controls include independent Master and LFE volume settings, adjustable crossover frequency, phase switching and auto on/off, making it easier to tune the Gravis II to suit different systems and listening spaces.

Finished with Sonus faber’s distinctive wood or lacquer cabinet options and black leather detailing, the Gravis II adds low-frequency impact without compromising the look of a refined hi-fi or AV setup.

This is an ex-demonstration subwoofer that has been very well cared for. It comes supplied with original boxing and accessories.
