The Audio-Technica AT-VM510xCB is a high-quality dual moving magnet phono cartridge designed to deliver detailed, dynamic vinyl playback. Part of the updated AT-VMx cartridge series, it combines refined generator technology with a reliable conical stylus profile for smooth, musical sound reproduction.

The cartridge features a 0.6 mil bonded conical stylus mounted on an aluminium cantilever. This stylus shape tracks the centre of the record groove, helping provide consistent tracking performance and durable everyday playback across a wide range of vinyl records.

Audio-Technica’s VM generator design uses two magnets arranged to match the left and right channels of the record groove. This mirrors the geometry of the cutting head used to make vinyl masters, helping deliver accurate channel separation and a stable stereo image. 

The AT-VM510xCB also features high-purity PCUHD copper coils and a paratoroidal generator structure, which improves electromagnetic efficiency and transient response for cleaner and more responsive sound reproduction. 

Threaded inserts in the cartridge body allow easy mounting using just two screws, simplifying installation on standard ½-inch headshells and many integrated tonearms.
